Winchester Model 94 Yellow Boy Indian Carbine 30-30 Win Lever Action Rifle
Serial Number: YB3709. Excellent condition. Bore is bright and shiny, and the lever action runs smooth. Right side of the receiver has a scuff/scratch that sits above the trigger.
This Winchester Model 94 Yellow Boy commemorates the first rifle to bear the Winchester name. Shortly after the American Civil War, Winchester entered the gun world by taking the Henry lever gun and improving upon it's design, releasing Winchester's first rifle the Model 1866. This rifle has several adjustments and improvements, but most notably was the receiver distinctive Yellowish color. Native Americans referred to the Model 1866 as the "Yellow Boy", and the name has stuck with the model ever since.
Featuring a 20" round barrel, brass finish, engraved receiver, full length magazine tube, side loading gate, bladed front sight and rear elevation sight, saddle loop, and has a smooth walnut stock and forearm. Comes with it's original retail box, decorative studs, and paperwork.
