This Marlin 1897 Century Limited commemorates 100 years of the Company's Model 1897 rifle. The original, introduced in 1897 was manufactured until 1922, being retired for the new 22 lever gun, the Model 39. Featuring a 24" half octagon / half round barrel, intricately engraved receiver depicting Marlin founder John M. Marlin and Golden Fox, take down functionality, bladed front sight and rear elevation sight, and has a checkered walnut stock and forearm.
