Czechoslovakia, much like other European nations of the time produced their own versions, if not close copies of the German Mauser action pattern. The Czech example, manufactured between 1924-1942 as the Vz. 24 rifle. Unfortunately the tide of war brought the German invasion to the Czechs, surrendering to German occupation starting in March of 1939. During this period German forces seized military manufacture's, and began rebuilding/manufacturing the VZ. 24 rifle under the German designation G.24(t). Uncommon amongst German rifles, the G.24(t) production was limited before switching the factories to the Germans standard issue Kar98K.
This G.24(t) rifle was manufactured in the 1941, in the German renamed Czech factory, Waffenwerke Brunn AG, Werk Bystrica "Dou.". Featuring a 24" barrel, bladed front sight and rear elevation sight, internal magazine well, straight bolt handle, manual safety, sling studs, and has a smooth hardwood stock. Comes with leather sling.
Mauser collector's! Don't let this great looking uncommon G.24(t) get away from you!
