Serial Number: 870660. Good condition. Bore is bright and shiny, and the bolt runs smooth. Stock has a moderate amount of wear, common for service rifles. Metal is in good condition. Firearm is not numbers matching, bolt serial number: 366 and the cover serial number: 496. Common for most of Arisaka rifles, the mum has been ground off. 

This Arisaka Type 38 was manufactured in the Tokyo Arsenal some time between 1906-1935. Featuring a 30" barrel, hard to find Arisaka bolt shroud, bladed front sight and a rear ladder sight, internal magazine well, manual safety, sling studs, and has a wooden full stock.
